music video

I have graduated from High School by now of coarse. I haven't written on here in ages. Right now it is Christmas break and I can't wait to get back up to USU in Logan. But while I was visiting with my family for these 3 weeks, I found a music video I made my Sophomore year of High School, so I put it on You Tube and have decided to show it to everyone. YAY! Well, tell me what you think about it. Thanks

Bunnies!

I like this title. I think it is pretty exciting. It probably has to do with the bouncy mood I am in, my boyfriend's nickname as a little boy, his new nickname and my Christmas present he got me. I know I am a couple weeks late on blogging about what I got for Christmas, but I finally decided to get around to it. :P If you read my wish list, you would know that I got that nice bed set. The picture doesn't even justify it! I will put it this way... I used to do homework on my bed all of the time, but now that is dangerous because the bed set is too comfortable and I fall asleep every time (literally). The sheets are 350 thread count... I think. Well, they are way soft, so yeah. :P When I look at it I think it looks just like those cute displays at the store. It has the 2 main pillows, 2 big pillows with pretty cases, and 1 decorative pillow. I am in love with my bed now. Whatever will I do when I go off to college? Anywho, back to Christmas. I got a 25 dollar gift card from Kalli, and Brooke got me the movie Step Up and *drum roll*.... A PINK BRA... with polka dots! I think it is exciting! My mom also got me more clothes and a pretty ring! Whitney didn't really get me anything, but I am fine with that. As kids, we finally got a Play station 2. I know... kind of late. Seeing as PS3 just came out. Oh well. Whitney got the game DDR along with 2 dance pads. We play that all the time, and I have to admit I feel like I have gotten much better. In fact, I want to play it now. I don't know why, but this has been one of my most favorite Christmases ever. I enjoyed it and felt the Christmas spirit more. Despite that most of Christmas morning, we watch Whitney the 12 year old open present after present, I didn't care. I was just happy that my whole family was there and we were all together. It was something I will always remember until a better Christmas comes along. Anyway, my Christmas story is not over yet, so let me get around to it. That night we all went our separate ways to visit other important people in our lives and give them their gifts. Brooke went of with Scotty boy, Kalli went out to see a movie with some friends, my parents went to visit Grig's parents, Whitney did something else also, and then I was able to spend a few hours with my one and only HONEY BUNNY! Bwahahaha.... lol. Yes, that is the new nickname I gave him. Hehehe For his present I got him some clothes. I know it sounds a little lame, but I decided he wore his black pants a lot and needed a little change by wearing worn down looking jeans. Also, a lot of his shirts have funny little sayings on them that I don't mind, but it is nice to see him wearing layers and other types once in a while. I hope he didn't mind them. I also got him kissing dogs, and a Moose that has my voice recorded on it. Then guess what he got me? A bunny named Amanda from Build a Bear! She is the cutest thing with her ducky blue pajamas and slippers! When you squeeze her hand she tells you she loves you. It is super cute! She makes my new bed set look even more amazing. I sleep with her every night and I am not afraid to admit it! Although, somehow she ends up 5 feet away from me when I wake up. Oh well. Okay, now I am done with my Christmas story. You may comment on this now. I give you permission. Well, thanks for reading and keep visiting me!

My loverboy!

I decided it was about time to tell you about my oh so handsome lover boy named Joshua Randy Walker... you can call him Joshie-poo! Jk I love him to death! He has been one of my best guy friends since my sophomore year where we met in drivers Ed. I had the biggest crush on him back then and he knew it too. I have pictures of the last day of sophomore year where he had his arm around both me and his girlfriend. There were even people who thought we were together at the beginning of our junior year. It was just my way of flirting with one of the many guys I liked. Then I went to Bingham ball with him after getting permission from his girlfriend who was one of my great friends at the time. He ditched me to be with her because she was crying out of jealousy (he regrets doing that now). After that dance, I realized I had to move on. Josh was only making me upset. We still hung out, but not as much, and I had convinced myself I didn’t like him anymore. Man I was wrong. Over the summer, we started to hang out again. But he would tell me high school relationships were stupid and he never wanted to get into one again. I was thinking "I want to be his girlfriend, but he doesn't want one, so I will find someone else." I did just that and went out with Josh Jones (in a previous blog). The next time I saw Josh Walker he had a new girlfriend named Mandy. I wanted to rip his head off! He lied to me. What happened to no girlfriends? Yeah, I was upset. School started up and we had Calculus together. My ex had broken up with me the weak before. We went right back to flirting a lot... even though he had a girlfriend. A little over one month into school we got to talking and I found out he was going to ask me to be his girlfriend, but then I got together with Josh Jones. That really made me go crazy... he should have asked me! We started to hang out more at school when he wasn't with Mandy. That girl hated me because Josh told her he kind of liked me. Then this thing started up where a group of my friends would stage kiss each other randomly. Josh joined in and he would stage kiss me once in a while. The only thought that crossed my mind was "move those thumbs.... I want to really kiss you!" Then one random day [Oct 19th], I just had to ask him, have you ever wanted to kiss me?" He answered it by giving me the quickest real kiss I have ever had. A week later he broke up with his girlfriend. I wasn't the full reason why, but I helped. Josh kept asking me to be his girl friend, but I would say no because I didn’t feel ready for commitment... flirting is way too fun! Three weeks later, I finally said yes on November 18th. I have now gotten my flirting habit under control. You will rarely find me flirting with someone else now. I love Josh too much. I guess our time to be together finally came. Whenever I was single, he had a girlfriend. Whenever he was single, I was involved with another guy. My dream has finally come true; I have always wanted to date a best friend. He knows me better than anyone else! His family is amazing too. They treat me like family. I even hang out at his house when he isn't there. My little sister, Whitney has become friends with his little sister Michelle. I am able to call his parents by their first names and they call me by my nickname Kenny. They give me hugs and take care of me in more than a million ways. Right now I live at their house half of the time. So yeah, that is my boyfriend, and I plan on staying with him for quite sometime! :D

Wish List

So, everyone has their oh, so AMAZING Christmas wish lists; everyone except me. You see, I can't think of anything I really want. Well, of coarse there are a billion things I want like... diamonds and ponies and laptops, but those kind of gifts are not going to happen, are they. That is what I thought, so I have had to think of some cheeper items. This has been SO difficult. Where shall I begin?
  • A giant teddy bear!
  • A Massage Gift Cetificate!
  • Car accessories (seat covers, wheel covers, things to hang from my mirror, etc)
  • Thoughtful gifts
  • Colored contacts... I guess...
  • IPOD Wall charger
  • PS2 games... I know we are getting one for christmas!
  • Movies I don't have (check with my sister)
  • More clothes (though I am content as I am)
  • More jewelry (same as above

Then there are the more expensive gifts...

  • A camera
  • Laptop
  • A new phone with Verizon service
  • New bed set! (which...seeing as it is a few days before Christmas, I already know I have this one! Shouts for joy!)- decorative pillows....[see picture]
  • CD player in my car
  • A million dollars
  • etc
Yeah, so if you were wondering, you now have an official list. Isn't last minute shopping so much fun?!?!?! I still have some to do with the little money I have. Well, this has been fun! I will let you go out and buy me more presents... after you leave a short comment of coarse! JK. I love you all. bye!

2.5 somethings?

Okay, so it has been 2.5 months since I last blogged. I have just been so busy. Sorry everyone. So much has happened. There was Bingham Ball which was held at the University Park Marriot down town. They combined our Halloween stomp and our original winter formal to make it a Mascarade. That was exciting. I don't have any pictures just yet, but I will post some as soon as possible.

Then there was the musical. It is over now... sad to say. I loved it and it was an experience I will never forget. If you had never heard of it... I can tell you this. It is a little perverted. I was a secretary named Katty Smith who was yrs old and wrote the gossip column. The musical effected everyone in it. Everyone became overly flirtatious (including me). I know what you are thinking... "how could Kendra become more flirtatious than she already is?" Well, I did. And because of that I am giving about 4 back scratches or massages to people everyday. My hands are so much stronger... I think.

Another new and exciting thing is... *drum roll* I have a boyfriend! Right now is our 3rd week only, but he has basically been my best guy friend over the past 1.5 years. I have liked him the whole time, but I guess we weren't supposed to get together until recently. I could go on about him forever, but I will have to do a whole nother blog about him some other time.

Wow, time really flys by. It is already December and I have officially started my Madrigal season. I found out I only have 8 free days until Chrstmas. And that is if no more performances are scheduled. I love being a Madrigal. It has been one of the best experiences of my life. My vocal skills have improved dramatically and and my stage fright has decreased. I would love it if people I knew popped up at any of my concerts. I would love them forever! ;) And don't forget about Candlelight too. We aren't doing all of our songs there though, just so you know.

Musical tryouts!

Okay, so I have the best news in the world... yes, it is the best. End of discussion! Anywho, so my school Bingham High School (which I love) had Musical tryouts about 2 weeks ago. I tried out of course! I sung "I cain't say No" from Oklahoma. I had this whole character planned out and I believed I had it down pretty well. I walk into the choir room fully preparred. Then while listening to a young man before me sing "If I were a Rich Man," I forgot my first note. He left... so I slowly stood up on my feet, walked to the piano, gave Miss Hatch my music, and prepared myself. Then as she played the introduction, I was too focused on my first note that I forgot the words! *gasp* I know... it is terrible. They told me to start over, so I quickly looked at the music and it all came back to me! Then as I was focusing on the words, I didn't get into character. Instead of singing with a talking/singing voice, i sang in a choral voice. Don't get me wrong... it sounded beautiful.... really. It just didn't sound the way i wanted. Oh well, I made the musical... that is all that matters to me. I am in the ensemble! Yay for me. I am so excited! Oh, wait a minute! I never told you what the musical was! Do you want to know? Are you sure? fine, it is.... *drum roll* "How to succeed in business without even trying." I get to be a secretary! We have only had 3 practices so far, but I couldn't be happier... letterally. Well, I guess I better get going. I have a Madrigal party to go to!
